Veles Sense is developing PlantYsense software for early disease detection in vineyards, with a  focus on grapevine trunk diseases, such as esca. Esca is the most devastating disease, causing damage of 5-19% of vineyards worldwide and € 8-9 bilion in material losses. PlantYsense software processes multispectral, hyperspectral, and THz images to detect grapevine diseases at an early stage, identifying changes below the surface layer of the plant and enabling rapid response to preserve yield.
