Bioweg has developed alternative biodegradable, sustainable biobased agricultural coatings by combining the power of bacteria, biotech and green chemistry. Our readily biodegradable coating emulsion replaces petroleum and acrylic-based coatings from fertilizers and seeds. We produce this solution in a zero-waste circular process utilizing the waste or side-streams of agriculture and food industry as feedstock. Through our sustainable and customizable coating solution, we solve several challenges such as tunable release, loading of multiple micronutrients and increasing the microbial load capacity for optimized crop-yields.
