SIMON has developed a patented artificial intelligence capable of detecting and identifying a series of anomalies and faults at the panel level using only the digital signature of the single panel. For example, if a single panel in an array of 1000 panels is broken or malfunctioning, it can detect the problem, identify the location, and issue a maintenance instruction. All of this is done without having to install expensive widgets and panel-level monitoring systems, as is currently the only option.
